The Unheard

Details: Tess may be overprotective, but she is terrified of leaving her kid with her ex and his new young wife. Seeing him happily married to someone else makes Tess sad. Despite this, she owes it to her daughter, Poppy, to make this work. Poppy, on the other hand, returns from the weekend exhausted and withdrawn. Poppy can only explain to Tess that "he killed her" when she shows her a crayon drawing.
