Days of Distraction

Details: The intention is to depart. She has no idea how, when, or where she will go, let alone why. Days of Distraction's 24-year-old narrator embarks on a journey. She reports on the accomplishments of smug Silicon Valley billionaires and start-up bros as a staff writer at a prestigious tech publication, while her own request for a raise is passed from manager to manager. And when her longtime boyfriend, J, decides to go to grad school in a quiet upstate New York town, she sees an opportunity to cut and run.
