Genre: Children 8-12 years
A Place to Hang the Moon
Details: It's 1940, and William, 12, Edmund, 11, and Anna, nine, are indifferent about the death of their grandmother, who has been looking after them since their parents died. However, the children require a guardian, which is scarce in London during World War II, especially if they are to remain together. Could a major exodus of youngsters from London to the countryside, as happened during WWII, be the answer?
