Daughter of the Deep

Details: Ana Dakkar is a freshman at Harding-Pencroft Academy. Ana's freshman year concludes with a weekend trial at sea with the rest of the class. Ana is informed by the professor accompanying them that their rival institution, Land Institute, and Harding-Pencroft have been at odds for 150 years. The cold war has been intensified, and the freshmen are on the verge of becoming fish food.
